Alright chummer this guide is designed to get even the daftest a drek head to connect, so seein how that is it aughtta help ya connect to yer game. Make sure ya follow this straight chum, otherwise you'll end up whining on the forum like a baby. Diablo II and Warcraft III require a few more kicks in the pants then just changing the Gateway. So if ya be interested in them filthy games you'd be doing yourself a favour to check out the steps below the Gateway tutorial.


What is the Gateway Editor?


The Gateway Editor is a program that allows ya to connect to our private pvpgn server so you can play games like StarCraft, Diablo and Warcraft with yer pals.


Where can I get the Gateway Editor?


You can get it right here from your old pal Erwin, Gateway Editor.


How do I setup the Gateway Editor?


As Fetoid says, ya gotta Patch first! If ya haven't yet you'd be wise to get on that.


So now that yer patched up and got the Gateway Editor the first thing ya gotta do is open the editor.


Once open select Add Gateway (highlighted red)





Enter in these settings, and make sure ya get em right


Name: Erwin
Zone: 8
IP: erwin.servequake.com





Then click ok


Now highlight the new gateway on the left-hand side
Click set to Chosen Gateway on the right (highlighted red)





Now click on the tabs at the bottom (highlighted blue)


Follow the same setup as before for each tab (StarCraft, Diablo/Diablo2, WarCraft3/WarCraft2).


Congratulations chum, you've successfully configured yer gateway!
Now all ya gotta do is sign on and register!


IMPORTANT! USE A USERNAME AND PASSWORD YOU WILL NOT FORGET!




Connecting with Diablo II and Warcraft III


Diablo II


(Once you have Diablo II and/or the Expansion installed and patched to 1.12)


Load the game and select "Other Multiplayer"





Then select "Open Battle Net"





Then sign in





That wasnt so bad was it




Warcraft III


(Once you have Warcraft III and/or Expansion installed and patched to 1.21b)


To play Warcraft III you will need to install a loader to launch the game


Download the Warcraft III Loader


Run the installer, then launch through the created shortcuts
